The Summer!
Posted on Jul 12, 2008
I know that some of you will take this hard, and for that I'm sorry. But I think that after you've had time to think about the decision and process it, you'll understand where we are coming from.
We've decided to postpone IGNITE until the start of the school year. We are doing this for several reasons and here they are:
1.) Schedules. Many of us have conflicts due to mission trips, camps, and church activities.
2.) Rethink and Reassess. One of the things we are passionate about with IGNITE is having a vision or direction for the ministry. There are many things we are trying to accomplish such as revising the website, planning teaching series', and discovering outreach opportunities.
3.) Growth. Even though we are taking a break from IGNITE, the leadership and worship teams are not taking a break from one another. Instead, we are going to work at growing closer to one another and practice our gifts and talents. The more we work on these areas, the more it benefits all of you and this ministry.
I know that many of you look forward to every Wednesday night. I praise God for that. It tells me that the ministry is effective; that God is blessing us. I just want to encourage you to continue to passionately pursue your relationship with the Lord. Pray. Read. Sing. IGNITE is in your heart. You know where to find it. It's the presence of the Spirit within you. Seek Him...
Pastor Matt is, however, looking at lining up a night of worship at the park. We'll keep you up to date as things progress. I hope and pray that you are all enjoying your summer.
Blessings and Love,
Brian

Maintenance
Posted on Jun 07, 2008
Below is a note from the Web Hosting Service:
Our System administrators will be migrating servers 260, 262, 263, 264, 275 to our new hardware platform on Sunday, June 8th, 2008, between 02:00 and 08:00 EST. In this window, some services (MySQL, FTP, SMTP) may be unavailable. The expected downtime is up to 60 minutes per server.
The downtime is unfortunately unavoidable, and is needed to ensure the integrity of the hosting accounts data. No incoming or outgoing mail will be lost during the migration.
